A tragic road incident in Kano State reportedly claimed the life of two girls who have been returning from the marketplace to store for the 2022 Sallah celebration.
Studies reported that the incident occurred together the Kano Government Home on Wednesday evening.
The victims who were basically determined as Khadija and Rasheeda are mentioned to have concluded their procuring and had been returning home when the accident transpired.
It was gathered that their automobile went off the road to strike a pole even though striving to escape remaining hit by another automobile.
The ladies are reportedly married to two brothers, Nura Garba Khalil and Adamu Garba Khalil.
Sharing the bitter event with Each day Trust, Nura said the gals satisfied their premature loss of life when a vehicle veered towards their route and they tried to maneuver but ended up hitting the road mild.
“I was not at the place where the incident happened but I was instructed that a driver nearly hit their auto. So, you know, as a female, she tried using relocating away then the vehicle veered off the highway and strike pole,” the media outlet quoted the bereaved partner as saying.
Also confirming the incident, an eyewitness, Badamasi told the news system that the victim’s motor vehicle skidded off the highway and strike the streetlight pole soon after descending from Condition Street Flyover along Authorities House Road.
“One of them died below quickly whilst the other one particular was taken to the clinic alive. There was no car near to their personal at front or at the back again, their car just rammed into the pillar,” said Badamasi who sells fuel near to the scene.
Nura Garba Khalil described their late wives as best of close friends, expressing “They went to the market place to get Sallah Things for the families.
“I’m genuinely terrified. I can only pray to Allah to forgive them and I will test to be patient. We may have quarrelled with my spouse but we made use of to resolve all issues with no involving any person which include our mom and dad,” he reported.
