ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) – Lip Esteem, a new Black woman-owned enterprise offering plant-based cosmetics, celebrated its grand opening in St. Paul on Friday.
Tameka Jones, who grew up in St. Paul’s Rondo neighborhood, was a make-up artist for extra than 20 years when she was furloughed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But that is when she took her future into her personal arms, and her aspiration of launching her individual cosmetics corporation turned a reality. She took all her price savings to make her possess line of lipsticks, named Lip Esteem.
